Common signs your horse may benefit from an anatomical bridle include:

Padded Seamless Headpiece (Edinburgh, Miami, Olympic)

This headpiece is designed with maximum comfort in mind. It is thick, softly padded, and completely seamless to reduce pressure points, while its shape follows the natural contour of the horse’s neck for optimal fit and relief.

Best suited for:

  • Horses with neck tension
  • Horses sensitive in the poll area
  • Horses with TMJ-related discomfort
  • Riders looking for optimal pressure distribution

This is our most pressure-relieving option and ideal for sensitive horses or those needing extra support.

Slim ear cut-out headpiece (Copenhagen & Essential styles)

This headpiece is lighter and more minimal, with a large ear cut-out to allow freedom around the ears.

Best suited for:

  • Horses that prefer a lighter, less bulky feel
  • Horses sensitive around the ears
  • Riders who prefer a more classic, streamlined look

It offers comfort through freedom and reduced material rather than padding.

Which should you choose?

If your horse shows signs of tension, stiffness, or sensitivity around the poll or jaw, we recommend the padded seamless headpiece.
If your horse goes well in lighter equipment and benefits from more ear freedom, the slim ear cut-out design is a great choice.
