The Copenhagen double bridle features a large ear cut-out, allowing greater freedom around the ears and reducing pressure in one of the horse’s most sensitive areas. This design supports relaxation and helps the horse move more freely in the contact.

The bridle promotes stability and a consistent. It is used by several FEI riders like Simone Pearce (Australian Olympic rider) 

In addition the bridle has a well-padded noseband and our signature seamless crank pad. 

This exclusive bridle is handmade of the finest Italian leather by experienced craftsmen.

Common signs your horse may benefit from an anatomical bridle include:

  • Head shaking or restlessness during riding
  • Sensitivity around the ears or avoidance when touched
  • Difficulty or resistance when being bridled
  • Tension in the neck and poll

You may also notice:

  • Your horse trying to place the tongue over the bit
  • Uneven contact or a tendency to carry the head slightly crooked

Choosing the right bridle can make a significant difference in your horse’s comfort and performance. One of the most important elements is the headpiece. We offer two different designs, each suited to different needs:

Padded Seamless Headpiece (Edinburgh, Miami, Olympic)

This headpiece is designed with maximum comfort in mind. It is thick, softly padded, and completely seamless to reduce pressure points, while its shape follows the natural contour of the horse’s neck for optimal fit and relief.

Best suited for:

  • Horses with neck tension
  • Horses sensitive in the poll area
  • Horses with TMJ-related discomfort
  • Riders looking for optimal pressure distribution

This is our most pressure-relieving option and ideal for sensitive horses or those needing extra support.

Slim ear cut-out headpiece (Copenhagen & Essential styles)

This headpiece is lighter and more minimal, with a large ear cut-out to allow freedom around the ears.

Best suited for:

  • Horses that prefer a lighter, less bulky feel
  • Horses sensitive around the ears
  • Riders who prefer a more classic, streamlined look

It offers comfort through freedom and reduced material rather than padding.

Which should you choose?

If your horse shows signs of tension, stiffness, or sensitivity around the poll or jaw, we recommend the padded seamless headpiece.
If your horse goes well in lighter equipment and benefits from more ear freedom, the slim ear cut-out design is a great choice.
